Principal's Message from Mrs. Neff-Rupp

Hello, Wolf Families!

It was a great first three weeks of school. Our students have learned the campus routines and procedures are getting better each day. Classroom instruction is in full swing., and students are engaging in lessons daily. Our attendance goal is 95% and we are sitting at 91% so far for this year. We are so close to reaching our daily goal! If your student is out sick, please send a note. Up to six handwritten notes will be accepted each year; any additional absences must be accompanied by a doctor's note to be excused.

Thank-you for prioritizing your student's education and ensuring they arrive at school by 8:45 am each day. We will begin before/after school tutoring and Saturday Quest this month. Any student can attend tutorials and invitations will be sent out for Saturday Quest. But, if you want them to attend any of these, please reach out to their teachers. We are a team and are here to support you!

I look forward to seeing you at Open House on September 11, 2025 from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm. We will have a short presentation about the school, information on the upcoming Bond, information from our parent liaison over the Title 1 compact, and hear from our PTA. Then, we will have you follow your child's schedule to meet their teachers.

Reminder to find out the latest information about CSP: Like our Cunningham MS at South Park Facebook page.

Thank-you,

Rachel Neff-Rupp

Testing Letter to Parents

Dear Families,

We wanted to make you aware of some upcoming important dates for our students. The testing window for the Beginning of Year Universal Screener (BOY) begins September 8 and will conclude September 26. Students will be scheduled throughout the testing window for their content specific tests. We ask that students come to school well rested and on time during the testing window to ensure the best testing outcome for your child.

The purpose of a Beginning of Year Universal Screener is to help teachers gather baseline data on course specific skills to monitor student progress throughout the school year as we will follow up at the Middle of the Year and End of the Year.

Thank you for everything you do to ensure academic success for your child.

Chromebook Information:

Please remember that Chromebooks should be brought to school every day, fully charged and ready to use. We also encourage families to purchase Chromebook insurance for just $15. This small investment protects the device and ensures students can continue using this essential learning tool without interruption. Scan the QR code to purchase the insurance

Message from Librarian Gonzalez:

We are excited to share what’s happening in the library this September! Library classes begin this month, and we encourage you to remind your child to read their books daily at home. Building reading stamina is very important for student success; it helps them stay focused, understand more complex texts, and grow as confident readers.

This month also kicks off our Wolfpack Reads contest, which students will work on in their English classes. While reading a library book-fiction or nonfiction—students will answer a TEKS-based question using a RACES graphic organizer, available both in their classrooms and in the library. Each month, three grand prize winners will be selected, and all students who participate will receive an incentive.

This month’s questions are:

● Fiction: What is the most likely reason the author wrote this text?

● Nonfiction: Based on the information in the book, what can the reader infer about the topic?
