Struggle: When is it Productive?

We all have an interesting relationship with struggle. Sometimes, it acts as a barrier that we'd like to avoid. Sometimes, it's a catalyst for the kind of fun and enjoyment we can only get by doing something challenging - making us feel powerful and proud of ourselves in the process. When is struggle a barrier to learning, and when is it a catalyst for deeper learning? Join us as we play some games and puzzles and dive into a few components we can keep an eye on to turn student struggle into a productive, practical (and enjoyable) part of class.
