So many wonderful trips and memories!
What a whirlwind week we had last week! We jokingly called it our "Tour of Vermont" as kids enjoyed riding the rails through Roxbury, visiting Shelburne Farms and Museum, and exploring together at the Montshire Museum of Science. We also enjoyed a wonderful field day thanks to our P.E teacher, Mr. Chandler, and our amazing PTO, who provided a shark-tastic water slide, sno-cone machine, and even helped us grill lunch. We had an awesome time being together and seeing many beautiful and interesting places throughout the week. On Friday night, we enjoyed an extra-special treat as we saw Bridges present "A Busy Bee Circus". It was a truly incredible show, made possible by Ms. Casey and more our our incredible parent volunteers. Thank you all so much for a great week!
On a personal note, this is the last issue of The Buzz, and I'd like to thank the community for a great year - I have so appreciated getting to know all of you, and your amazing kiddos, and am sorry that I won't get to stay for years to come. RVS will stay in my heart, that's for sure. Thank you all again for the warm welcome, and all of the support you have offered me and our school this year.

RVS Important to Remember:
TUESDAY is a full day of school. It is the last day for kindergarten students. Please send an extra pair of clothes and shoes that can get wet, as we will have our last Forest day. We anticipate that kids may be very interested in the creek, given the heat!
WEDNESDAY is a half day. Grades 1-4 will depart for UES at 8:40 to "step up" into their new classrooms for the upcoming school year.
- Grades 1-3 will return to RVS for lunch and will dismiss here at 12:30.
- Grade 4 will go to MSMS to meet their 5th grade classes, have lunch, and will depart on the MSMS bus to Roxbury at 12:30. 4th grade must be picked up in the RVS parking at 1:00.
We are still planning to move forward with our graduation ceremony on Wednesday night from 5:00 - 6:30, despite the heat. We will have our musical performances and graduation ceremony (we'll be speedy!) outside, and then will be able to move indoors to our air-conditioned space to enjoy some cake and photos.
There is NO SCHOOL for students starting on Thursday, June 20th.
RVS Graduation and Community Celebration: June 19th from 5:00 - 6:30
