Description
PROGRESS: Professional Resources for Optimizing Growth & Results. Our mission is to make outcomes for students with disabilities better for them and better for our districts. This group will meet monthly on topics that follow our System Monitoring Community of Practice (SMCoP). If you are participating in the SMCoP our network will go deeper into the special education topics from the previous SMCoP meeting. We will refer to the Record Review Questions and discuss what other resources can be used to improve student outcomes as well as discuss policy, procedures and practices. This group will discuss the next step to assist districts to have items in place in order for staff to do their best for students with disabilities. Discussion of Policy, Practices, and Procedures will also assist in preparation for the upcoming 6 year cycle of special education review. All documents are approved resources from Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
