October Parent Newsletter
From the Desk of Principal Piazze-McMahon
Dear Williamson Elementary Families,
Welcome to the wonderful month of October! Our classrooms are fully settled into a productive routine, and the energy in our hallways is fantastic. As the leaves begin to change, our Williamson Lions are diving deeper into their academic goals and showing wonderful growth. They are truly showing their Lion pride by working hard every day! Thank you for your continued partnership at home—your support makes all the difference!
As we move into this busy month, please take note of a few critical reminders and highlights:
- Attendance Matters: Regular school attendance helps your child stay on track and connected with friends. Please make sure your Lion arrives on time every day by 7:35 AM.
- Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences: The conference window runs from October 9th through October 23rd. Keep an eye out for a sign-up link from your child’s teacher next week to discuss your student's progress and fall report card.
- School Safety Reminder: All visitors must check in at the front office with a valid ID and wear a visitor badge while on campus. Remember all student backpacks must be mesh or see-through.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming school events and holidays:
- October 8: School Literacy Night (4:30 PM – 5:45 PM) 📚
- October 9: Student Holiday / No School (Staff Professional Development) ✏️
