Dane Pelkowski is a junior at Dryden, where he has been for 3 years. He enjoys car photography and sports photography, as well as collecting streetwear and shoes. His favorite thing about Dryden is its small size. Dane’s dream is to be successful, although he's unsure of the specific career path. After high school, he plans to continue growing his photography social media presence, build a reputation, and run a college sports social media page while attending college.

Lillian Martin, an 8th grader at Dryden, has spent three amazing years at the school. She's involved in Drama Club, Track, Volleyball, and Basketball, and enjoys crocheting stuffed animals and hats. Lillian loves the teachers at Dryden, especially Mr. Shute. Her dream career is to become a veterinarian or a massage therapist. Outside of school, she enjoys crocheting, and she looks forward to standing up for herself in high school. Despite her tough exterior, Lillian is a kind and caring person.

On February 21, the Dryden Varsity Girls Basketball lost to Sandusky - Dryden 29, Sandusky 53. Some highlights were Keira Miller, who scored 14 points, Monica Kucharski, Kierstyn Stankevich, Jalynn Delmotte, and Ariela Perales, who scored 3 points each—Isabella Weier with 2 points and finally Karley Phillips with 1 point.

On February 26, the Varsity Girls Basketball team won against BCAS by 17 points! Score was 37-20. Some honorable mentions are: Jalynn Delmotte with 2 points, Isabella Weier with 10 points, Keira Miller with 11 points, and lastly Kierstyn Stankevich with 14 points.

On February 27, the Dryden Varsity Girls Basketball team played Brown City, and lost - 31-36. There was a lot of work put into the game, but those who scored are: Keira Miller (17pt.), Kierstyn Stankevich (7pt.), Isabella Weier (4pt.), and Jalynn Delmotte (2pt.).

The Dryden Varsity Girls Basketball team played its last and final game against Genesee Christian for the MHSAA District 126 semi-final on March 5. The Dryden Girls lost 16-56, but they put up a good fight: Keira Miller scored 18 points, Kierstyn Stankevich scored 3 points, Monica Kucharski scored 3, and finally, Ariela Perales scored 2 points.
