Panorama Student Surveys
Student Edition
Why should I partipate?
More than 170 school districts in Michigan use surveys like Panorama to understand more about their students and their schools.
That's over 300,000 students.
Just like these school districts, we want to know how you are feeling, what we are doing well, and how we can improve to make school a better place. The Panorama survey also helps us know more about social-emotional learning, or SEL skills. These are skills that help you understand your feelings, help you get along with others, and help you solve problems - all things that are important in school and in life.
We know that every question on the survey might not be perfect but we still want to hear from you. Please answer each question as best as you can and as honestly as you can. You can skip any question that you don't feel comfortable answering.
If you have ideas about how to make Panorama better, please share them in the survey or talk with your principal or a student on the Student Voice in Action Committee.
The spring 2026 survey window is March 9 - 27.
What areas are students asked about?
Students in grades 3-8 are asked about perseverance, growth mindset, self-management, social awareness, emotion regulation, supportive relationships, sense of belonging, and teacher-student relationships.
Students in grades 9-12 are asked about supportive relationships, sense of belonging, teacher-student relationships, and diversity and inclusion.
