Dear Onahan Community,

This week we kicked off the PTO's annual fundraiser. The Fun Run will be October 21st in the morning. More detailed schedules will go out after tomorrow if you want to join our celebration as we run on our new field! Here's hoping for beautiful weather! 💙💛

We also had a chance to hang out with the Fun Run leadership team, Clock-it Coree and PB &Joy. Onahan is well on its way to raising $40,000.00 (but we are not there, yet). Here is an update from Coree and Joy:

Being at Onahan is the best. Our team got to read with 2nd grade, Clock-It Coree got silly stringed by Ms. Nesse's class, PB&Joy got silly stringed by Ms. Nielsen's class, and we also hung out with a few classes during indoor recess. OCTOBER - PRACTICE THE THEME OF BELONGING

Belonging is a theme that will be discussed at all grade levels. Here is a family calendar for you to use at home.

7th and 8th graders have been talking in Advisory about what it means to make others feel like they belong. They each made an individual promise as to how they will put these ideas into action. They have proudly displayed their commitments on their Belonging Quilt
