"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." -L.M. Montgomery, Anne of the Island

School is almost over and now is the time to plan for your summer professional development (and your summer vacations!!!!). This summer, Region 17 will be hosting a variety of trainings to provide support for success in the social studies classroom. The Region 17 Social Studies Conference in conjunction with Lubbock ISD's Social Studies Extravaganza will be held on July 11. Streamline TEKS training will be happening in June, and planning days with the streamlined TEKS will be held in August. Law Related Education will be here for a full week in June! We will be hosting the Congressional Medal of Honor Character Education program, the folks from Lyndon B. Johnson Library, and SMU Free Enterprise training. Check out the flyer below to see all the offerings and registration information.
