Science in Action in Dr. Dalton's Class
Our students are diving deep into hands-on learning in Dr. Dalton's class:
Ecology: Students are stepping into the shoes of engineers by designing, testing, and refining their own solar ovens. They're applying the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) to harness clean, renewable energy and put thermodynamics to the test.
Biology: Things got fast-paced in our "Toothpickase" lab! Students modeled enzyme function by designing their own mechanisms, running trials, collecting live data, and analyzing how enzymes interact with substrates.
