Warm Feet for Warriors

Do you have a family member that is a Veteran?

As we approach Veteran's Day, we are excited to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. To make our upcoming Veteran's Day assembly even more special, we would like to invite you to participate by sharing some information about your family's military background.

We kindly request that you provide the following details for any family members who have served or are currently serving in the military:

1. Name: Please provide the full name of the veteran.

2. Branch: Please indicate the branch of the military in which they served or are serving.

3. Years of Service: Please share the duration of their military service.

4. Picture: If possible, we would greatly appreciate a picture of the veteran in uniform.

5. Relation to Student: What student is this person related to and how?

Please note that participation is completely voluntary, and we understand that not all families may have a military background. However, we believe that sharing these stories will help educate our students about the sacrifices made by our veterans and foster a deeper appreciation for their service.

The information and pictures you provide will be used solely for the purpose of creating a visual display during our assembly. We will ensure that all submitted materials are treated with the utmost respect.

To submit the requested information, please share with your student's homeroom teacher. The deadline for submissions is November 6, 2023.

Spooky Stories with the Library Lady. Bring your lunch to the library and be prepared for a frightening good time!

Space is limited, Sign up in the Library starting Monday, October 23rd.

🏀 Girls Basketball Meeting 🏀

Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing Girls Basketball- there will be a meeting after school on Monday, October 16th at 2:55 pm in the Gym.

Wrestling Practice will begin October 16th!

MUST HAVE PHYSICAL AND SPORTS PACKET COMPLETE TO PRACTICE.

Robotics Club

Robotics Club will start in October. All are welcome to join. Robotics will be offered the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. They will meet in the STEM Lab from 3pm-4pm.

Ceiling Tile Project for 7th Graders

The American Legion Ceiling Tile Project has been opened up to 7th Grade.

After school dates are posted outside the Art Room.

8th Grade Grade Level Tutoring

8th Grade Level Tutoring this week will only be offered on Tuesday and Thursday this week. Please be mindful that pick up time is 4:00 at the latest. This is the Google Form to sign up for GLT.
