Dear Longfellow Families,

We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing spring break filled with time to recharge and enjoy family moments. It has been a joy welcoming our students back to school, and we are excited to begin the final quarter of the school year together.

This last stretch is always a special time. Our classrooms are filled with meaningful learning, growing independence, and opportunities for students to reflect on how far they’ve come. We are proud of the hard work and progress our students have made, and we look forward to supporting them as they finish the year strong.

As we move into the final months, there will be many exciting activities, celebrations, and important learning milestones ahead. We encourage you to stay connected, continue supporting routines at home, and reach out to us or your child’s teacher with any questions or needs.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can make this last quarter a positive, successful, and memorable experience for every student.

Warmly
Your Longfellow Principals,

Karen Pasquale and Ashley Girt

Please remind your student(s) that all electronic devices must be away during the school day. If cell phones, etc are found to be in use during the school day, they can be confiscated and a parent will need to pick them up in the office. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we implement state and district policy.

The clinic is looking for gently used children's pants and shorts in various sizes for students to wear in the event of an accident during the school day. It is also helpful to pack a change of clothes in your student's book bag just in case as well.

Attendance Update! Attendance Update!

We are continuing to focus on increasing student attendance across the district and specifically at Longfellow. Currently 24% of our students are chronically absent, missing 10% or more of instruction, and we need your help to improve that number! Since Ohio school attendance is calculated in hours, every minute counts.
