🌟🇩🇪 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: FRAU ROBERTSON! 🇩🇪🌟
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of the wonderful educators who makes Rilke Schule so special!
Frau Robertson has been working in education for an incredible 29 years! What an amazing commitment to helping students learn, grow, and discover their own passions.
Why Rilke Schule?
Frau Robertson enjoys the challenge of speaking and teaching in German! She loves the opportunity to stretch herself while helping students experience the joy of learning in another language.
Dream Vacation:
Her ultimate dream vacation would combine two amazing adventures! An art trip through Italy followed by walking parts of the Camino in Spain. Sounds like the perfect combination of art, culture, history, and adventure!
What inspired her to become an educator?
It started with her dad! Her father was a history teacher, and when Frau Robertson was growing up, he would let her correct papers with him.
Favorite Children's Book: Horses of Long Ago
Frau Robertson loves the beautiful illustrations and artwork and as a child, she always dreamed of having a horse of her own!
If she could have a superpower...
She'd choose WINGS! So she could FLY! Imagine being able to soar wherever you want!
Thank you, Frau Robertson, for sharing your passion for learning, language, art, and adventure with our students!
A heartfelt thank you to the Rilke RSV for the incredible planning, organization, and hosting of this year’s Rilke Oktoberfest. Your dedication and attention to detail created a truly memorable event for our entire community.
I am deeply grateful to all of the Rilke volunteers whose time, energy, and enthusiasm made the event such a success. Your efforts brought everything together seamlessly and helped create a warm, festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Thanks to our outstanding and terrific Rilke staff for coming out to support, celebrate and fundraise for Rilke groups! Your presence made the event even more special.
And finally, thank you to our amazing Rilke community for participating and making Oktoberfest such a joyful and vibrant gathering.
It’s moments like these that highlight the strength and spirit of Rilke Schule!
Danke,
Herr Barr
