Issue #19: January 5, 2023
Principal Corner
Welcome back, Chapelfield families!
We came back to a power outage on Tuesday! Student Council was in the middle of reviewing our PAWS expectations to every classroom when we lost power. I was so impressed with our students and staff that day. Students were POSITIVE, ACTED RESPONSIBLY, WORKED HARD, and SHOWED RESPECT that entire day! That was the first day back and we had a roadblock. They SHINED! You should be extremely proud of them! Our faculty and staff jumped in quickly to help the entire building. Families had to pick up students earlier than expected. Chapelfield was amazing and we saw the LION PRIDE that day! That is what makes Chapelfield a special place to go to school daily. Thank you for your support.
Today, please look in your child's backpack tonight. Report Cards for Quarter 2 were handed out today. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.
Enjoy your weekend.
Sincerely,
Nikki Miller
