Las Vegas Nationals
The RHS Dance Team closed out their competition season on April 18th in Las Vegas! The team spent the weekend in the city of lights, competing and experiencing some educational dance opportunities. On day one, team members worked with Lex Crooms, professional dancer and lead swing for Cirque Du Soleil; they went to see Michael Jackson ONE, and got a surprise backstage tour where they met the cast of MJ ONE. After an inspiring first day, they went on to day two to compete.
At the competition, the team took home 2nd Place in the HS Small Hip Hop Category; 2nd Place in the HS Medium Hip Hop Category - with a competition high score of 91; and 1st Place in the HS Bollywood Category! The team was also awarded the "most enthusiastic team" award.
A huge congratulations to the following team members who placed in individual events at nationals!....

Join us for Spring Dance Concert on Wednesday April 13th @ 7:00pm in the RUSD Performing Arts Center (the PAC), for a night of good vibes and good memories. Celebrate a decade of catchy music, movies, and pop culture!

Spring Musical
Class Meetings
Class meetings will take place on Monday, April 27. House of Representatives will meet during 2nd period in the Hideout, and Senate will meet during 1st period in the Hideout. Grade-level class meetings will be held during lunch: 9th grade in A11, 10th grade in R106, and 11th grade in the Library. Please plan accordingly and be sure to attend your assigned meeting.
