OCHS Principal's Update
December 2024
Winter Activities, Semester Tests, and Christmas Break
Our Knights have worked hard this semester! As we kick off December, we have three fun-filled weeks of classes, school activities, and family and community plans. Recognizing that the season is short, and the last few weeks are full of evening and weekend school activities, we are making the shift in our semester test schedule to a three-day schedule. Students will have three tests on Wednesday, December 18th, three tests on Thursday, December 19th, and two on Friday, December 20th. Once tests are complete on the 20th, and projects are finalized, students will be able to engage in some fun activities organized by Student Council. Students with any missing homework or assessments will be required to go to student work rooms during this time to complete missing work. Furthermore, all teachers have been asked to have their second quarter grades updated by Tuesday morning, December 17th. Hopefully, this allows students to ask any questions or work through any conflicts before grades are finalized and report cards are sent home over Christmas break.
OCHS Winter Dance
Doors will open for OCHS Students and Guests, as well as public patrons at 8:00 p.m.
Entry for students is $5 per student or $8 per couple
Official grade level photos will take place at 8:30 p.m.
Dance begins at 9:00 p.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m.
