Shepherd Elementary Weekly Update

A short but great week. We are so glad that we got to see so many family members for parent teacher conferences. We are looking forward to another great week!

Shepherd Elementary Staff

On Friday, October 31st students can wear Halloween Costumes if they choose.

Here are some guidelines:

Costumes should be able to be put on independently and should not be worn to school. Students will be putting them on during the school day.
Costumes should not hinder your ability to participate in classes or hinder your ability to move through the hallways in a safe manner (blow up costumes).
Fake (or real) weapons are not allowed.
Make-up, hairspray/coloring, or glitter must be applied on before coming to school. These products are NOT allowed to be applied in the school restrooms, hallways or classrooms.
Costumes that can be offensive are not permitted.

Picture Day Information

Pictures are in and you should have received an email. If you did not please follow the steps below:

1. check your spam and your promotions tab within your email

2. If it is not there go to www.guysanddollsphotography.com

a) Select School/Sports/Events

b) Select your school or organization

c) Enter your student’s unique passcode for the password (This passcode will be in the

email we send to you. If you do not receive an email, you must contact your school, and

they can give you the information).

d) Enter your email address to order pictures, select BUY PRINTS. Please note there are

separate tabs at the top of the screen for packages, single prints and photo products. All

portrait packages ordered prior to the deadlines will be delivered to the school, unless you

choose to have them mailed to your home. In which case a shipping fee will be applied to

your order.

1. Call the attendance line at 989-828-6601

2. Select Option #3

3. Select Option #1 and include the student's name, teacher, specific reason for absence, and date they will return.

4. Upon return to school, turn in a note from the physician, dentist, or counselor if available.

Pick-up Reminder

Just a reminder: If you are doing walk-up pick-up, please avoid using the sidewalk directly in front of the buses. That area needs to remain clear for our bus riders.
