K- 5 Bus Safety: A Parent and Student Guide
Parents, please review this safety flyer with your child and watch the video together as we work to improve student behavior and prioritize safety for everyone on the bus. Thank you for your help.
Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready to Learn
Last year, we introduced our school motto: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready to Learn. This year, we're excited to build on that foundation by giving students clear, real-life examples of what each of these behaviors looks like in different settings around our school β from the classroom to the cafeteria to the playground. We recently held grade-level assemblies, where students had an opportunity to see and discuss what these expectations look like in action!

Notes from our School Nurse, Mrs. Suzanne Herbst
Attendance and Illness
Regular school attendance is essential for your child's academic progress and social development. Prioritizing consistent attendance helps students stay on track with learning and build strong relationships with peers and teachers.
However, we also prioritize the health of our school community. If your child is feeling unwell or has a fever, please keep them home. Students should remain at home for at least 24 hours after their fever has ended without medication. This helps prevent the spread of illness and ensures your child can return to school ready to learn.
Thank you for your support in fostering both your child's education and well-being.
Contacting Mrs. Herbst
If you have any questions for our school nurse, Mrs. Suzanne Herbst you can email her at suzanne.herbst@motsd.org or call her at x3485. Additionally you can text her on her MO phone at 862-419-2776.
