Congratulations to Stacy Cuevas
Acceptance to the Governor's Page Program, NC
Congratulations, Stacy Cuevas Ameca, on your acceptance to the Governor’s Page Program in North Carolina this summer! This program is incredibly prestigious, accepting only a handful of the most outstanding students from across the state each year, and is known for being a launching pad for future leaders. By working alongside government officials in the heart of our state’s capitol, Stacy will gain an inside look at how laws are made, how policy is debated, and how justice is served— an experience that will be invaluable as she pursues her dream of becoming a lawyer. She’ll learn to navigate complex rules, communicate with confidence, and build connections with mentors who can guide her toward a legal career. Honestly, I can already see her thriving in that fast-paced environment, and I know this summer will be the first of many incredible steps on her path to law school. You’ve more than earned this, enhorabuena abogada!!

Theater Excellence: Mrs. Morgan & Vinny & Natalie: Super Stars On and Behind the Scenes
Under the outstanding direction of Katie Morgan, The Little Mermaid became an absolutely amazing middle school theater production filled with talent, creativity, and teamwork. Through her vision, leadership, and dedication, Ms. Morgan created an unforgettable experience that allowed students to shine both on stage and behind the scenes.
A special shoutout goes to high school student, Vinny and Natalie, for their exceptional leadership, creativity, and commitment throughout the production process. Entrusted by Ms. Morgan with a variety of important responsibilities, these student leaders wore many hats in the world of theater—assisting with choreography, music, singing support, marking stage positions, and dress rehearsals.
Their willingness to step in wherever needed brought organization, energy, and excellence to every rehearsal and performance. Vinny and Natalie demonstrated remarkable teamwork, professionalism, flexibility, and school pride while helping others succeed and shine on stage.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work and excellence displayed by everyone involved in this wonderful production and grateful for the positive impact these students made on our school community.
