College & Career ~ Class of 2027
Welcome Back Class of 2027
WELCOME BACK SENIORS!
Welcome Back T-Wolves!
Fall has always been my favorite time of year. It represents a new beginning and exciting opportunities. This can be a time of varying emotions for our seniors ranging from excitement to nervousness.
This year we are excited to be back and working with seniors. In the next coming weeks we will begin meeting with seniors in classrooms and one-on-one to learn more about their plans for after high school. Our hope is help each senior navigate their next steps to reach their post-secondary goals.
In addition to our visits we have several events during the fall to help parents and students become more informed of what to expect and how/where to find supports. More details below!!
The most important thing we want you to remember is to have fun! This year is about growing and preparing for "What's Next". We can't wait to help you all as you navigate through your individual journeys.
Wishing all a wonderful start to the school year,
Lauryn Georgius

College Applications
College applications can be overwhelming. Luckily, Lake City High School students have access to Xello. Through this College and Career platform, students have access to the College Application Tracker. Organize and follow your progress towards completing your application. Communicate with your College and Career Coordinator and teachers regarding your plans and requests.
See below for more information about Xello and how to get started today!
College Application Tracker
Xello- Application Tracker
The Application Tracker is not a place to submit application, but rather a place to stay on top of deadlines and needed documentation all in one spot.
Additionally, Mrs. Georgius can use this tool to communicate with students regarding college application information, as well as other opportunities such as scholarships based on which schools they are "tracking" and applying to for the Fall 2026 semester.
Common Application
Common App. and Xello
Common Application Supporting Document Request
Xello allows LCHS staff to support student applications in Common Application. Once students have completed the FERPA Waiver in Common Application and connected their Common App to Xello, they are able to assign their counselor and send requests to current LCHS teachers for letters of recommendations.
School Report
The school report is a required section of the Common App. The School Report allows your counselor to answer key information regarding a student's academic history and achievement. It is also where a student's official "in-progress" transcript will be uploaded and attached to a student's Common App.
Transcripts
Requesting transcripts has become easier, faster and free! Students have multiple ways to access their transcripts. Whether a student needs an unofficial transcript or official transcripts, the College and Career Center staff is here to help all current LCHS seniors!
Request Official Transcripts
How to Request Official Transcripts - College Applications
Students needing official transcripts for college applications can request them for free through Xello. See the short video below or our step-by-step instructions on how to send your official "in progress" high school transcripts to your college/university(s) of choice.
Reminder - Students applying to colleges through Common Application do not need to request transcripts for those schools. Official "in-progress" transcripts will be sent to Common App via the School Report.
How to Request Official Transcripts for a Scholarship
Student needing an official high school transcript for scholarship applications can request them through Parchment. Each record request will cost a fee and is payable via credit card.
How to Access Unofficial Transcripts
Students can access unofficial transcripts via Skyward. Oftentimes scholarship applications will ask for an unofficial transcript or students wish to use them to help answer key questions on their college/university applications.
Information students can view on their unofficial transcripts are:
- Class Rank
- Weighted & Unweighted GPA
- State ID Number (EDUID)
- Completed Classes
- In Progress Classes
- Completed Credits
How to Request DUAL Credit Transcripts
College Transcripts
Students who have completed DUAL Credits while attending Lake City High School may need to request official transcripts from all colleges/universities they have completed dual credits through.
Below you will find links to our Idaho colleges and universities transcript request page. If you have any questions regarding their process, please contact the college or university directly.
It may be beneficial to contact your intended schools to see if they need an official transcript as part of your application, or if an unofficial copy will suffice.
This can help save time and money allowing students to only request official transcripts once they have completed high school. However, each college is different and we encourage students to reach out to Admissions Office staff directly to ensure they are sending the proper supporting documentation for their application(s).
