Thanks to your incredible response and involvement last year, our School Council helped make so many amazing things happen for our students. From community events to classroom enhancements, none of it would have been possible without the time and energy our parent community gave so generously.

As we begin this new school year, we’re once again asking for your support — and hoping for even more parents to get involved.

Our first School Council meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30 PM here at the school. The meeting will run for about an hour, with this first gathering likely being a little longer as we set the direction for the year. After that, we’ll meet about five more times over the course of the year.

Whether you’re interested in taking on a regular role, helping with specific events, or just staying informed and offering your voice when you can — your involvement matters. School Council is a great way to connect with other parents, understand more about what’s happening at school, and contribute to making Father Henri Voisin an even better place for our kids.

We’d love to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones, too. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Sacred Heart Parish - Sacrament Registration Info

Sacramental registration is open until November 6 at 12:00 noon.

Parents can select the Sacrament they are registering for and download the required forms directly from the appropriate page. You are also welcome to stop by the parish office to pick up a form or contact Cassandra at 403-343-2618 if you have any questions or would like a form emailed to you.

This year we are excited to announce two separate sessions offering Sacrament preparation for 1st Eucharist at St. Mary’s. Parents can choose either session to prepare children for their Sacraments.

Here is the schedule for Monday, September 21st:

10:05 am - Grade 3 at the Pond

10:35 am - Grade 2 at the Pond

11:05 am - Grade 1 at the Pond

12: 40 pm - Grades 4 and 5 at the Michael O’Brien Wetlands

1:55 pm - Kinders at the Pond

Students are able to walk, jog, or run. The track will be marked and staffed with supervisors to help show students the way and encourage their participation, too. We are excited to have an afternoon being active in the sunshine and raising money for cancer research! Bring in a toonie for Terry between Monday, September 14th and Monday, September 21st!

*We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the Grade 4 and 5s. If you are interested, please contact Gillian Hallam at gillian.hallam@rdcrs.ca.

Your child has come home with a picture sheet from Legacy Images. To view your child’s pictures, simply scan the QR code on the sheet and enter the online code provided.

Please note: No physical proofs will be sent home. All picture viewing will be done online through Legacy Images.

The north parking lot is reserved for staff only, with assigned stalls, and there is no supervision in that area. For the safety of our students, we ask parents to use the “Drop and Go” lane, the visitor parking lot (south), or street parking.
