Parent Edition

We had a wonderful week as we welcomed our Ponies back on campus. With STAAR testing approaching, attendance is more important than ever. Make sure your student is at school every day and on time to maximize the learning and preparation. I want to thank you for your continued support in ensuring our students are set up for success. Tutoring days have been extended two additional days and will run Tuesday through Friday. Letters were sent home with students, so take advantage of this great opportunity for extra support!

On Friday, 6th-8th grade students participated in an assembly to review the end of year expectations that align to our core values. Students were provided with examples of what our core values look like and sound like around campus. Starting Monday, any student that receives a discipline referral or is addressed for attendance concerns will not be able to participate in our end of year activities/celebrations. Student compacts will be sent home with students on Monday for review at home. KG-5th grade students will be provided with the same information throughout the week. Thank you for being such an important part of our Pony family.

Dress Code at MacArthur: 2024-2025

As we near the end of the school year, we ask that all parents and students please review our Daily Dress Code and Free Dress Guidelines as they apply to our campus. A copy was sent home with students on Friday.

Dear Parents,

We understand that mornings can be challenging and often compromised by many circumstances, however, please note that repeated tardies not only interfere with instructional time, they send the wrong message as a campus and community. The new App is available on the Apple Store and Google Play. Parents and students can use the app to check out events, lunch menus, and read about school news. The app also features Rooms, which allows parents and teachers to communicate in a secure private setting.
