MTMS Newsletter
March 2025
Greetings:
Seeing the sunshine and the glimpses of warm weather is so pleasant! We hope this letter finds you well.
Miami Trace Middle School continues to move forward as we approach the final three months of the school year. The last stretch before summer break is often a busy time for everyone.
At MTMS, we are actively preparing students for state testing, which will begin in April. Teachers are diligently following their pacing guides while reinforcing effective test-taking strategies to support students’ academic achievement and growth.
Our 8th-grade students recently had the opportunity to participate in the High School Electives Fair. They received valuable information about graduation requirements and the various class offerings available at the high school. Additionally, students have had the chance to engage with guest speakers who have shared insights into diverse career options. We are thankful to the high school staff for making this event possible, as it will help our students make informed decisions about their class selections for the upcoming school year. We also want to express our gratitude to Mrs. Enochs, our MTMS Guidance Counselor, for her dedication and hard work in preparing students for this important transition.
Scheduling for rising freshmen is approaching quickly. I have recently sent out communication from Mrs. Enochs, which includes detailed instructions for our 8th-grade parents. Please call MTMS at 740-333-4900 to schedule an appointment with a high school counselor, either in person or by phone. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Enochs via phone or email at jenochs@mtpanthers.org.
As always, we encourage you to contact the school with any questions or concerns. We deeply appreciate your ongoing support as we continue to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for your students.
