Learning, Growing & Making Magical Memories! ✨📚

This week, we solved problems using graphs in Math, practiced reading and spelling final e words in Phonics, and explored folktales and fables in ELAR. In Writing, students used their creativity to write their very own fractured fables, putting a fun twist on familiar stories! In Science, we investigated how pushes and pulls affected the movement of objects, and in Social Studies, we learned about important people who helped shape and improve their communities. We had a wonderful week of learning, creating, and growing together! 💜

Windsong Strong Conduct Chart✅ Windsong Strong Conduct Chart✅

To document behavior third grade uses the Windsong Strong Conduct chart. This will be kept in your child's purple take home folder for the entire 9 weeks and they will be given a new one each 9 weeks. Please be sure to take a look at this daily and discuss any comments with your child. Please help your child to be responsible for bringing this to and from school each day.

At the top, you will see a calendar for the 2nd 9 weeks. In this calendar we will fill out if a redirection was needed with an R - this is just to let you know that there were warnings given to get behavior back on track. If there is a C in the calendar your child's teacher had to give multiple warnings or a more severe behavior occurred. If you see a C, there will be comments explaining this behavior below - this is when a signature is required by parents. If nothing is written this means your child is demonstrating Windsong Strong behavior and setting a good example. You will also notice the Report Card Citizenship Grade codes at the bottom. This conduct chart will directly reflect the grade they receive on their report card. Students who earn an E for their report card will also be given bonus PBIS points as a reward for their continued Windsong Strong behavior.
