A Message from our K-6 Dean of Educational Philosophy

Dear Parents,

There are roughly 150 elementary schools in Colorado Springs. You could have chosen any one of them, and yet you’ve selected TCA. Perhaps you are here because of word of mouth, or you’ve known the caliber of graduates that come from TCA. Maybe you are a TCA alum, and you’re familiar with the quality of the education at TCA. Many of you, though, are here because of our Mission Statement:

The Classical Academy exists to assist parents in their mission to develop exemplary citizens equipped with analytical thinking skills, virtuous character, and passion for learning, all built upon a solid foundation of knowledge.

Our mission statement sets us apart from other schools for several reasons, and one of those reasons is the component of partnership. And, one of the ways we look forward to partnering with you each year is through our Parent Academy nights.

On November 12th from 6:00pm-8:30pm, we will be offering four classes focusing on bar models, math fact fluency activities, building good habits, and seeing failure as an opportunity for growth. These classes are designed to better equip you as parents as you do the immensely worthy work of raising exemplary citizens.

It is a privilege to walk alongside you!

Carpool Volunteers

We are looking for two TCA Approved Volunteers per morning to help out at the K-2nd Grade Morning Carpool Drop Off (located at the front of the school). These volunteers will be given a vest to wear each morning and will be helping the children out of their cars from 7:40AM-8:15AM. Please arrive by 7:40 in order to begin carpool on time at 7:45! This will free up our Paras to be more available at "Pre-cess", the before school recess. Click here to sign up for any of the dates that you would like to volunteer.
