Hello Sycamore Springs Middle School Families,

I hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful summer! While summer is a time to relax and recharge, Sycamore Springs just isn't the same without the energy, laughter, and excitement our students bring to the building each day. We miss our Tigers and are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another great school year in August.

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Welcome Back events:

- New to DSISD and SSMS Student Orientation on August 5 from 2-4 pm

- Tigers Ready on August 6 from 4-7 pm

- Open House on August 11 from 3-5 pm

- First Day of School on August 12

- Meet the Teacher Night on August 25 from 6-8 pm

A few important reminders:

• Athletic uniform orders for the 2026-2027 school year must be placed through BSN Sports by June 26. Please note that there are no late orders, returns, or refunds.
• School Supply Kits are available for purchase and will be delivered directly to your home. The deadline to order is Wednesday, July 1st. Click HERE to place your order.

The deadline to order athletic uniforms is June 26. All orders are shipped directly to homes. Please note that BSN does not allow exchanges or refunds. Students taking Strength & Conditioning, PE, UIL Athletics all need to purchase the maroon athletic shirt and black shorts. The polo is for football players only. Not sure what size? Uniforms will also be sold at Tigers Ready in August.
