Family Fun Night - October 26, 2023
We are hosting a Family Fun Night on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the school's Multipurpose Room. We have sent home a flyer on bright green paper which includes information about the event. Admission will be available via pre-sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited capacity, this event is limited to current LWJES students and future LWJES students (younger siblings) and their parents/guardians; middle school-aged and high school-aged students are not allowed to attend this event. Copies of the flyer will also be available in the front office. We hope you can make it!
No School - October 27, 2023
There will be no school on Friday, October 27, 2023, due to the observance of the Nevada Day holiday. Classes will resume as normal on Monday, October 30, 2023.
NV Day/Halloween Celebrations & Costume Parade - October 31, 2023
Classrooms will host Nevada Day/Halloween celebrations on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Please monitor for information from your child's classroom teacher about he classroom celebration which will occur at the end of the day. These celebrations will be only for the students in the classroom.
We will have a costume parade at 2:00 p.m. on the main playground. We will open the gates about 1:45 p.m. for family members to watch the costume parade. The campus will close right after the parade ends.
We will send a flyer with more information next week!

- Kinder: 87.2%
- Grade 1: 90.5%
- Grade 2: 91.9%
- Grade 3: 92.6%
- Grade 4: 94.6%
- Grade 5: 92.9%
- Whole School: 92.1%
Regular school attendance is critical for student learning and achievement. Avoidable absences negatively impact a student's progress, and we appreciate families getting students to school on time each and every school day! Make Today Matter!
