FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Fuller Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! We now have just three weeks left in the semester, and we’re excited to finish strong together.
This week, join us for our Annual Pancakes with Santa Benefit on Saturday from 8:00–11:00 AM in the Fuller Café. Admission is $5 per person or a new, unwrapped toy to support our Toys for Tots Drive. Bring the whole family to enjoy warm pancakes, play some festive reindeer games, and take a picture with Santa himself!
Looking ahead, we have several exciting events on the calendar. Our 4th Grade Winter Concert will be held on December 11th. On December 18th, we will host our Fuller Family Gathering along with Winter Parties—party schedules will be shared soon. Please note that December 19th is a student holiday and teacher workday, and this will also mark the start of Winter Break.
We can’t wait to celebrate the season together!
Remember, We are Fuller—we are Family!
Thank you,
Nathan Smith

Teacher Feature
This week, we are thrilled to spotlight our music teacher, Mrs. Olivares!
She truly shined during our Veteran’s Day Assembly, leading the 3rd grade performance with grace, professionalism, and heart.
Guests—including many of our honored Veterans—were moved by how beautifully the event came together. The students were exceptionally prepared, their voices blended with confidence and pride, and their professionalism reflected the care and intention Mrs. Olivares put into each rehearsal. The speaking parts were thoughtful and perfectly matched the tone of the ceremony, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
Thanks to her leadership, this performance has set a tradition we are excited to continue for years to come.
Thank you, Mrs. Olivares, for your dedication, your passion for music, and the powerful moment you created for our students, staff, and community!

Attendance
Please remember our campus goal is a 95% attendance rate. We want to see every child, every day.
Absences and excuse notifications should be sent to sharrison@aubreyisd.net OR alaster@aubreyisd.net
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance. Per TEA, ADA time is 9:00AM, any student that arrives after 9:00AM, will be counted absent for the entire day of school. Tardy period is from 7:35-8:59AM.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
