Safety Safety

Car Rider Arrival

  • In an effort to keep our student's safe, if you are parking in the front of the school to drop off your child please park facing the direction of traffic. It is illegal, and a safety concern, to park facing oncoming traffic.
  • Parents are encouraged to drop off students through the car rider line-we will get them out of the car for you!
  • Please do not use the bus driveway/staff parking as a drop off for your child. This are is a VERY busy space with cars/buses/daycare vans going in and out of the parking area.

Car Rider Dismissal

  • Please display your CAR RIDER sign until you student is loaded in your car
  • For safety, if you do not have your CAR RIDER sign, you will be asked to park and present your ID in the front office to receive a new/temporary CAR RIDER sign. Once you receive your replacement/temporary sign, you will be asked to go to the end of the car rider line

We are excited to bring back our parent lunches starting the week of September 9th! In order to accommodate parents and students, parent lunches will continue to be staggered to ensure we have enough space for students and visitors. Below are the designated days for the grade levels and a few reminders:

  • Monday's-Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten (parents eat at designated tables on stage or in foyer)
  • Tuesday's-1st Grade (parents eat on the stage with their child)
  • Wednesday's-2nd Grade (parents eat on the stage with their child)
  • Thursday's-3rd Grade (parents eat on the stage with their child)
  • Friday's-4th Grade (parents eat on the stage with their child)

If you have not had the opportunity to join your child for lunch in the past, the procedure is:

  • Parent/guardian checks in at the front office by presenting their identification and receives a Visitor's tag
  • Parent/guardian will receive a placard with their child's name on it to give to their child's teacher in the foyer as students enter the cafeteria (this let's the teacher know who the parent is coming to have lunch with)
  • Parent/guardian will head to designated table (on stage or foyer) with their child to enjoy lunch together
  • After lunch, parents will need to return their Visitor's tag to the front office

Reminders:

  • Parent lunches will take place during the student's lunch time (see grade-level newsletter for exact times)
  • Parent lunches are limited to 2 guests, due to spacing
  • You may bring lunch for your child only
  • If you take pictures, it may only be of your child

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!
