Hamburg School Retirees
Collectively, these remarkable staff members devoted more than nine decades of their lives to educating, mentoring, supporting, and inspiring the students of Hamburg School. Over the course of their careers, they have instructed thousands of children, each student leaving their classrooms with lessons that extended far beyond academics. They helped students learn to read, write, solve problems, and think critically, but perhaps more importantly, they helped children grow into respectful, caring, and confident individuals.
In a small community such as Hamburg, educators become part of the fabric of daily life. Mrs. Colyer, Mrs. Dean, and Ms. Kolb did far more than teach lessons from a curriculum guide. They spent countless hours encouraging students, comforting children through difficult moments, celebrating achievements, attending school events, communicating with families, and helping shape the character of generations of Hamburg students. Their influence extends well beyond the walls of the classroom and into the heart of our Hamburg village.
The impact of a teacher can never truly be measured. It lives on in the success of former students, in the memories shared by families, and in the lasting traditions and values they helped establish within our school community. Words alone cannot fully express the gratitude we hold for these three wonderful educators and the immeasurable difference they made throughout their careers.
On behalf of the Hamburg community, we extend our deepest appreciation and heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Lisa Colyer, Mrs. Pam Dean, and Ms. Darby Kolb for their extraordinary dedication, compassion, and service to Hamburg School.
With sincere gratitude, thank you for your many years of service and for helping raise the children of Hamburg with care, commitment, and love. We wish you the best in your next journey.

Band and Chorus Sign-Ups for the 2026-2027 School Year
All incoming 4th-8th grade students have the exciting opportunity to participate in band and chorus. If your child participated in band and/or chorus this school year, they are automatically enrolled again next school year. Below you will find the chorus information packet, band information packet, and an NEMC instrument rental information page. If you need to rent an instrument for your child for band, I highly recommend renting from NEMC. (NEMC) This store works directly with our school and provides good quality rental instruments.
