A Message From the Principal
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Labor Day weekend! Throughout the year, we'll send home Sunday messages to help keep families informed of all the different activities and events we do. Please take a few minutes to look over the information. In a typical week, we put most of the information at the top but want to make sure parents check out the linked "buttons' as well as flyers near the bottom. Our goal is to put everything right in the palm of your hand so you can be actively involved and connected. Easy peasy lemon squeezy is how we like to do it here at Academy.
Class assignments and bus numbers have been released through the Aspen Family portal. I hope everyone was able to access them and have reviewed with your child your entry plan. We're nearing the final few days before kicking things off with students in Grades 1-5 on September 4th (remember it's a half day with dismissal at 11:50 AM). The excitement is building!
I want to give a huge "Thank You" to the Rossi family and the AAPC for all their hard work making our grounds look beautiful just in time for our back to school events! The campus looks amazing. I would also like to thank our custodians, Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Santo, for all of their hard work making the school look great for opening day!
It was great to see so many of our Kindergarten families come out for the K Meet up last weekend and we are excited to see them back on Friday, September 5th for the K Orientation.
See you Tuesday night at the Ice Cream Social!

Things to Know
Here are a few things to think/know about for the upcoming start of school:
- The first day can be a big deal with some big feelings. Please take some time to talk to your children and plan out your family's entry and dismissal routines. Thank you to all of the families that completed the student dismissal form for your child. If you have more than one kiddo, please complete an additional form. Click here for more information regarding dismissal procedures.
- The school day starts at First Bell (8:50AM) and the late bell rings at 9:05AM. Please make every effort to have your child present and on time every day! The end of the day bell rings at 3:15 PM. Also please avoid the island before and after school as buses will be loading and unloading in that area.
- Just a reminder to parents using the Top Lot, the lot closes at 9:00AM for arrival and 3:10PM for end of the day pick-up. Cars should stay clear of the front circle during arrival and dismissal. No parking on the circle please. Also please remember in the morning to wait for the BIG WAVE (staff signal) when to unload.
