It was a great week at the branch! We began our state testing this week. Students thank you for your diligence in following the testing expectations. SC Ready and EOC testing will continue next week. We would like to encourage all our students to continue to work hard and focus on doing their best. We know that each of you will do your best work and will rise up to meet the expectations. Parents we thank you for your continued support.

The SBMHS Athletic Banquet will be on May 14th at 6:00 PM. This evening will be a special time for us to come together and honor the accomplishments of our student-athletes throughout the year.

SC READY - Middle School Students
➗ May 12th - Math
🔬 May 15th - Science

End of Course (EOC) Exams - High School Students
📜 May 11th - US History
➗ May 15th - Algebra

Test Day Reminders:
⏰ It is very important that students are present and on time each day of testing. Please avoid scheduling appointments during these dates.

😴 Students get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast!

📵 Personal electronic devices (phones, watches, earbuds, headphones, smart glasses, iPads/tablets, personal laptops, etc) are not allowed. It is best to leave these devices at home.

💻 Middle school parents - we will be collecting student devices and chargers next week in preparation for SC Ready Testing . Middle school devices and chargers will remain at school for the reminder of the school year. We kindly ask for your support in making sure that students bring their school-issued device and charger. We thank you for your continued support and partnership!

This week our seniors showed their Eagle spirit during senior spirit week. #EagleStrong

Last week Coach Fleming and the football athletes meet with representatives from SC universities/colleges. Students were able to ask questions and learn about options for furthering their education academically and athletically. We'd like to thank all the representatives who took the time to come and speak to our young athletes.

Free physicals will be available for all student-athletes on May 15 and May 22. We will depart from Scotts Branch at 9:00 AM on both days. Physical packets will be distributed beginning May 11. Please see Coach Lewis for more information.

If you need toiletry items, you can stop by Mrs. Butler’s office to get what you need. These items are available for use at school or at home. Please feel free to come by—help is always available.
