News
Dear Blackhawk Middle School Families,
April is here, and with it comes exciting events, important reminders, and opportunities for our students to continue to shine.
A huge shout out to our PTO for all the work they have put in to ensure our students, staff, and school community celebrate together! We are looking for parents who would like to join or assist our PTO with future events! Our next meeting is on Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 PM.
Take a moment to review the month ahead. We look forward to the many celebrations to come!
Thank you for your partnership!

SPANISH Interest Form (Class of 2026)
Option 1: Taking Spanish
If you choose to take Spanish, it will be for a half a year and therefore would be for two rotations. Your other two rotations would be TWO of the four ENCORE classes (Robotics, STEM Lab, Art, Music). AUTOMATICALLY DETERMINED BY COMPUTER. Unfortunately, you do not get to select which two Encore classes you will have.
Option 2: Not taking Spanish
If you choose to NOT take Spanish, you will be taking all four ENCORE rotations (Robotics, STEM Lab, Art, Music) throughout the school year and will NOT have a Spanish class.
Please review this option with your child. The form will be distributed in the Encore class the week of April 21, 2025. Contact Deanna Berardi if you have any questions.
BMS Talent Show
BMS Clubs SY 24-25
Students Participating in Clubs
All students must have a permission slip on file for both before and after-school clubs. Students may walk home, be picked up, or take a late bus after clubs and activities. Buses are available for students whose clubs end at 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Students taking one of our late buses are expected to be home within 30 minutes of departure. It is important for your child to know their address to ensure drop off at the correct stop.
