May Bond Update

From dirt work and plumbing, to footers being poured, and the first section of walls going up, things are looking much different at the site for the new Greenwood Elementary and Greenwood Intermediate campuses. Lots of progress has been made since our February update. See the pictures and drone footage below of the the latest updates and construction site photos.

• The final stages of planning for the Career and Technology programs wing on the south side of the high school are still taking place.
• Bids have been taken and ready for final approval.

The first section of renovations and updates are underway at the high school. The old office and middle hall classrooms of the west wing of the high school (former middle school) are now under construction causing some classes and office spaces to relocate. This area will include a renovated area for our special education department.

The beams, roof, and metal walls are going up to form the new Multi Purpose center on the west end of the football stadium. This facility will serve not only as a practice facility for all extra curricular events, but will also provide a new athletic training room. • The floor plan and interior design are in the final stages and bids will be taken soon.
• The Student Event Center will be located on the south end of the high school.
