Well, here it is.....the final weeks of the 2021-2022 School Year. We have so much to be proud of as we highlight all that makes our school so special. End of year events such as the Spring Concert, Fun Day and Class trips, allow for a little break from schoolwork, and a chance for students to interact with friends outside of their own classroom. A little competition makes the annual Fun Day more exciting, but also gives the students an opportunity to display some of the important lessons they've learned throughout the year, such as Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Kindness and Friendship....to name just a few.
In 2021-2022, our Strathmore students once again showed how resilient they are as we transitioned into a little more of a "normal" existence at school. We found joy in seeing the smiles we have been missing over the last couple of years....even if those smiles were missing some teeth!! Our students should be so proud of all they accomplished
throughout a pandemic!
Amidst the joy, we also know we will soon be saying goodbye to our awesome 3rd-Grade students, as they prepare to move on to Lloyd Road. We wish them all the best in this next chapter of their educational journey. We know they'll take pride in looking back at their time at Strathmore E.S. Hats off to all the teachers and support staff who taught, guided and nurtured our 3rd-Grade Students.
Make the most of your Summer. Check out your local camps and parks. Try something new. Stay healthy and safe, and enjoy your time with your families.
