Wicker News for Parents

Please help support our Canned Food Drive. We are donating items to those who are less fortunate during this time of the year. This is our Wicker Way of giving back! Join us in our efforts! There is a prize for the grade level that brings in the most canned good / non perishable items.

There will be NO School on Monday, November 11, 2024.Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. W. B. Wicker Elementary School would like to thank you for your service, dedication, commitment, and sacrifice.

If you signed up to eat Thanksgiving lunch with your child, please see the flyer for the special lunch times for each grade level. We are allotting time and space for everyone to enjoy spending this special time with your child. You can come in the pre-pay your $7 by November 18th and receive your lunch tickets. Again this is only for those who signed up to eat lunch for Thanksgiving. If you did not sign up, we invite you to have lunch with your child on another day. We will not be able to accommodate you if you did not sign up to join your child for Thanksgiving Lunch at Wicker.

If were absent or did not have your Fall Pictures taken when our photographers were here in October, we will have a make-up picture day on Tuesday, November 12th. Please come dressed ready for your photo to be taken! These pictures will be used for the yearbook!

We are looking for parents to serve on the PTSO Board, School Improvement Team, and help collect hours at the PTO Thrift Store! If you are willing to or are able to help in any area that helps to serve the students and the school, please reach out to Mr. Beasely.
