Haslett Happenings

Haslett Public Schools will provide free breakfast and lunch to all students through September 30, 2025. The Michigan Legislature has not yet approved the state budget for fiscal year 2025-2026, and current funding for the Michigan School Meals program expires September 30.

We will start the school year with free meals for all students. If the Legislature renews funding for the meals program, free meals will continue beyond September. If not, we will notify families well in advance of any changes.

We are asking ALL FAMILIES, regardless of income, to complete the Education Benefits Form. It's fast, confidential, and helps support both your child and our schools.

ALL students MUST have their Skyward Information updated every year by their parent/guardian. This process not only updates emergency contact information and address changes but it grants permission for students to attend field trips and acknowledges the student handbook/technology ethics/concussion agreements etc. This acknowledgement is necessary for use of district technology and meets district and State of Michigan requirements. The Skyward Student Update will open on August 1, 2025. The process must be completed for each student by September 1, 2025.

Take a few minutes and update your child's information today!
