It is Community School Coordinator Appreciation Week, so please help us thank Ms. Vance and Ms. Davis for their vital work supporting HPS students and their families. To many, they are simply known as "those ladies who help people." We also know them as a part of the Ottawa Community Schools Network . They serve our schools by connecting students and families with various community partners and resources to ensure all students are physically, emotionally, and socially well with strong family supports so each student can develop to their own potential. Thank you both for all you do! Author, and former HPS literacy coach, Dana VanderLugt, visited the 5/6 Building @ Georgetown this week. Ms. VanderLugt just published her first book "Enemies in the Orchard" and stopped by for a bookmark signing. Our students were delighted to meet the author and check out the smallest version of her book, which doubled as a pair of earrings. 🦅🍎📙 #fireupgoeagles Dana VanderLugt, writer Author, and former HPS literacy coach, Dana VanderLugt, visited the 5/6 Building @ Georgetown this week.
