May 26th . . . Memorial Day . . . NO SCHOOL

May 27th . . . 8th grade Recognition at BHS (last day for 8th grade) . . . 7 PM

May 30th . . . Last day for 6th and 7th grade

We are excited to celebrate our 8th graders on Tuesday, the 27th! Please take note of these details:

6:30 -- All students should be in the high school gym

7:00 -- Ceremony begins (We anticipate it lasting approximately one hour.)

Student dress for the occasion is dressy casual. Please be aware that there is no air conditioning in the gym at BHS.

Each member of the Class of 2025 will be individually recognized. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend. No tickets are needed and there will be no limit to the number of parents or relatives who may wish to attend the ceremony.

Please make arrangements to meet your child outside on the plaza at the conclusion of the program. This will assist in an orderly recessional.

Parking will be in the main parking lot at Barrington High School which is accessible from Hart Road.

The event will be livestreamed here for those who cannot attend.

As we wind down this school year, we wanted to share some reminders:

• The last day of school for each grade is a full day.
• All students will receive yearbooks. These are included in your school fees. Eighth graders will receive their books on the 27th. Sixth and seventh graders will receive theirs on the 30th.
• Locker clean out will also happen during the last few days of school. Look forward to being reunited with long-lost sweatshirts and reusable containers!
• Please also ask your students to check the lost and found tables in the commons and basket in the office. (We have several air pods and eyeglasses in the office!) Any items left after the school year will be donated.

On Tuesday, May 27th, the entire 8th grade is heading to Main Event between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM for some end-of-the-year fun. All students wishing to attend must register here.
