Lockout this week: As you all know, we had a lockout earlier this week when there was MCSO unrelated to, but near the school. This happens out of an abundance of caution and in a lockout, students and staff are not in immediate harm's way. Our students and staff all responded in an efficient and appropriate way, demonstrating their commitment to safety.
All of our safety requirements are established through Florida Statute and State Board Rule. This is why we have monthly lockdown drills coordinated with the school district and MCSO. Section 1006.1493, F.S./6A-1.0018 also includes the requirement that at least one of the lockdown drills is conducted without warning or notice at least once during the school year. This is fully led by the MCSO team and MCSD/Clark safety personnel to ensure our staff and students truly know how to respond in a lockdown (emergency) situation.
📸🏃Volunteer Opportunity: LAHIA, in partnership with Carson’s Tavern, is looking for 1–2 student photographers who would like to build their portfolio. We are co-hosting their annual 5k over Thanksgiving weekend and would love to offer this as a chance for a student to gain experience while supporting a great cause. For questions or to commit to this, call Jean Saco at 772-278-5275 or 772-781-7002 x110.
Winter Semi- Formal Dance is near!
Tickets are on sale MONDAY. You are only allowed 1 guest and guest forms are due before you can purchase a ticket for them. Clark students also have a form that must be signed. These are available at the front desk and in the front office.
Gratitude and Celebration!

It's me! Dr. Judd!
I thought the last day of National Principals Month was the perfect time to take my turn here. So, what are some cool (or not very cool) things to know about me.... I am an Army brat so I was born on a base in Augsburg, West Germany (yes, I am so old that we still had west and east), I only had a pet fish growing up (and was explicitly told NOT to win one at the carnival... he lived about 7 years... I've never been great at following rules) and now I have an addiction to cats and dogs, and I HATE costumes (yet I loved this $8 sale find so here I am!)
There is WAY TOO MUCH love about Clark! We have the most supportive environment, best students, staff, and families, and I take pure joy in seeing students come here and thrive. I also love that my momma gets to volunteer here so I see her at east once a week!
You can check out our website for all the boring professional details!
