4th Grade Celebration - Unit 1 CKLA

As part of their CKLA lessons, students learned about polio and its impact on people’s lives. To celebrate completing Unit 1, students participated in activities connected to the stories they studied, including playing Candy Land, a game created by Eleanor Abbott while she was recovering from polio.

Dear Pine Ridge Families,

It has been wonderful to see our students’ excitement grow as we explore our new CKLA language arts curriculum! Over the past two weeks, students have participated in engaging activities to celebrate unit completions and kick off new learning. The pictures above highlight just a few of the creative ways our teachers are bringing learning to life.

We look forward to sharing more of these exciting learning experiences with you!

Warmly,
Nathan Peltz

If you would like your child to participate in this alternative option, please email our School Counselor, Abby Terranova, at aterranova@fhps.net.
