CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER
Home of the Dolphins - August 10 - 14, 2026
Clearwater Elementary STEAM Families
I want to warmly welcome you to the 2026–27 school year! It is an honor to serve as your Principal and to work alongside this wonderful community of students, parents, and staff. As we embark on this new year together, we remain deeply committed to ensuring our students receive the comprehensive academic and social-emotional support they need to excel. At Clearwater, we are dedicated to equipping our students with the vital 21st-century skills necessary to thrive by purposefully integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into all academic content. In addition to providing this rigorous and engaging instructional program, we take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where students feel inspired to learn and parents feel truly valued.
We can't wait to see our Dolphins back on campus! Let’s work together to make the 2026–27 school year another truly great year!
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL THIS THURSDAY
Red Carpet Rollout: We are rolling out the red carpet starting at 7:35 AM to give our students and families a special welcome back to campus!
Photo Ops with Splash: Pose for pictures with our very own mascot, Splash the Dolphin, right in front of the school to capture those first-day memories!
Walk Your Dolphin to Class: Parents are invited to walk their students directly to their classrooms on Day 1. Teachers will head to their rooms at 7:45 AM to greet everyone.
First-Day Breakfast: Breakfast will be available for all interested students! We kindly ask that parents remain outside the MPR while students eat inside.
Friendly Help on Hand: Looking for your teacher? Our support staff will be out front with clipboards, ready to guide your student straight to their correct classroom!
DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
Thank you parents for your support and patience during student dismissal. Our common goal for staff and parents is to keep our Dolphins safe!
Please:
- Be Patient. Safety and security is our main priority. The pick up process will improve each day.
- Move up to accommodate more cars when in the pick-up loop.
- Stay in your car and do not leave your car unattended when in the pick-up loop (staff will help call for your student).
- Kindergarten parents must park in the parking lot and walk to the MPR to pick up their student.
