Principals- please discuss the future of Chemistry prerequisites with your ILT, Science, and Math departments. With the new math pathway, the former Algebra 1 prerequisite is no longer applicable, and the state no longer requires one. Our current plan is to revise the Chemistry Curriculum Map to include essential algebra skills at the start of the course. Come prepared to discuss this topic at the Principal/IC meeting on 11/19/25.

The middle to high school, vertical articulation meeting will be February 6th at MTA. Let your relevant team members know. Eric and I will discuss this further at the next HS breakout.
