Recognizing Outstanding Attendance Recognizing Outstanding Attendance

Students who attend 95% of the instructional days each month will receive an "Outstanding Attendance" brag tag. Students should be in class when the teacher takes attendance at 8:50 each day. Instructional Days: August had 13 days and September has 20.

To celebrate classes with "Outstanding Attendance", each month the class at each grade level with the best attendance will get an extra recess!

If attendance is at 96%...

When Your Attend, We All Win! When Your Attend, We All Win!

Supporting Strong Attendance at home by:

  • Making sure your child gets enough sleep and a nutritious breakfast each day

  • Helping your child develop a positive attitude toward school and learning and encouraging him/her to participate in school activities

  • Explaining Compulsory Education - by law all students must attend school daily and on time

  • Teaching the benefits of good attendance and consequences of poor attendance

  • Creating back-up systems (alternative plans for getting to and from school)

  • Creating morning and evening routines

  • Posting school calendars, school attendance policy, and schedules in a visible place

  • Gaining access to the Infinite Campus and monitoring your child(ren)’s up-to-the-minute progress online.

  • Making your school aware of any issues that may be affecting your child’s attendance

  • Making sure your child’s school has your accurate daytime contact information, including cell phone number and/or e-mail address

We need YOU! Please join PTA today! We need YOU! Please join PTA today!

EVERY member counts! Not sure about using the digital platform? Please come get an envelope from our front office!

PTA helps pay for field trips, assemblies, grade level funds, books in the classroom, and more! Joining as a member is not a time commitment, it is just being a voice for our students.
