NES Parent Newsletter 03/09/26
March 9, 2026

Dear NES Families,
It has been another exciting week of learning and fun across our campus!
Our 4th grade students had a wonderful time on their AgVenture field trip, where they learned so much about Florida agriculture. It was a meaningful, hands-on experience that supported their classroom learning.
We also had a fantastic Read Across America Week! It was great seeing so many students participate with creative crazy hair styles and looking their best for Dress for Success Picture Day. Thank you for helping make the week so special!
This week:
3rd grade will attend their field trip to the Science Cox Center this week to support their science instruction. Please make sure your student arrives at school on time so they don’t miss this opportunity.
The Teddy Bear Fundraiser is Thursday, March 12th. Flyers were sent home yesterday.
Our PBIS event for the 3rd nine weeks will be held on Friday. Please remember that students who received a referral after Progress Reports or who do not have enough Dunkin Dough are not eligible to attend.
Friday is NOT an Early Release Day. Dismissal will be at our normal time, 2:50 PM.
As we approach the break, please note:
Spring Break is March 16th–20th.
We hope all families enjoy quality time together and some well-deserved relaxation!
Students return to school on Tuesday, March 24th.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a wonderful place to learn and grow.
With gratitude and positivity,
Mrs. Jessica Lowe, Principal
