Great opportunity for families

Cape Cod Tech has partnered with Cape Kid Meals to provide food over the weekend to school-aged children who might otherwise go hungry. We are the first high school to partner with Cape Kid Meals and provide this service to our community. We are extremely excited about being able to provide this essential resource to our students and families.

How Does It Work?

First, parents sign up on the form below. That is how we will identify the need and request weekend meals for students. Once the number of students is identified, we will share that number with Cape Kid Meals. Parents who want to participate but did not sign up may continue to sign up after the program has started.

Volunteers from Cape Kid Meals pack the food bags on Thursdays during the school year. The food bags will be delivered to school by Friday morning. Social workers and/or teachers at each school will put the bags into a CCT Athletic drawstring bag which will be kept in the main office. Students will stop by the Main Office before weekend dismissal to grab a pre-filled athletic bag. Students will be required to return the bag on Mondays so they can be filled for the following week. The entire process is confidential and only the school personnel will know which students are receiving the bags.
