We're gearing up for our annual silent auction, and your help is needed! The funds we raise cover the cost of field trip transportation for every student at Cherry Creek Academy. Last year, we raised $18,000 for our kids' field trip transportation — let's keep that momentum going!

How to get involved:

  • Donate an item or experience for the auction.

  • Help us collect items from local businesses.

  • Sponsor the event. We have Gold ($300) and Silver ($150) sponsorships available.

All donations and sponsorships are greatly appreciated. To donate or learn more, contact us at silentauction@cherrycreekacademy.org.

Friday, September 12 - Middle School Students

Our 5-8 graders will have the opportunity to attend an abridged performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream by Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). The performance will take place in and around a pick-up truck "set" in CCA's parking lot. Following the performance, 7-8th grade students will take part in an interactive workshop led by cast members.

Please keep an eye on the weather and send your 5-8th grade students to school with sunscreen and weather appropriate attire, as the performance is outdoors.

Huge shoutout to our 7/8 Reading teacher, Katelyn Bradley, for bringing this amazing opportunity to CCA!

What is CCA Connections?

Join Dr. Scott Mendelsberg, our Executive Director, and Shoshana Howley, Director of Community Engagement, for a series of informal morning gatherings designed to connect you with our school's leadership and community. Each month, we'll feature a short presentation on a key school topic, followed by an open Q&A session where you can ask questions, share your thoughts, and get to know our school leadership better.

This Month's Topic: Volunteering at CCA

Volunteers are the heart of our community, and we want to make it easier than ever for you to get involved!

This September, we will discuss everything you need to know about volunteering at CCA. We will cover:

  • Navigating Our Volunteer Platform, Track It Forward: A step-by-step guide to finding and signing up for opportunities.

  • Tracking Your Hours: Learn how to easily log your volunteer time with on the Track It Forward website or app.

  • Opportunities for Everyone: Discover a wide range of ways to contribute, from one-time events to ongoing roles.

  • Making a Difference: Learn how your time and talent directly support our students and teachers.

Questions? Dr. M and Shoshana will be available to answer any of your questions about volunteering or other school-related topics.

We look forward to connecting with you!

In the Extended Tutorial, Middle School students will be able to work on homework or projects in a structured environment with the support of Mr. Gaulden, our 7th and 8th grade Writing teacher. Students will not only complete work, but practice organization and self-advocacy skills.
