Dear Peachtree Ridge Senior Class Parents,
As we step into March, we find ourselves less than 50 days away from the conclusion of the school year. This is an incredibly exciting time for our seniors as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives. However, it is also a critical period that requires focus and determination.
We understand that this time of year can be challenging. Our seniors are balancing numerous responsibilities both in and out of school, and fatigue can easily set in. It is essential that we support them in maintaining their focus and motivation as they navigate these final weeks.
Despite the challenges, this is also a time for celebration. We are incredibly proud of all that our seniors have accomplished so far, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements in the coming weeks. Their hard work, resilience, and dedication have brought them to this point, and we are confident that they will finish the year strong.

🎓 MARCHING ORDER (aka Tassel) is LIVE on your Student Portal! Look under the "Additional Resource" column and you'll see it. There is already an AI version of your name recorded that you will hear first, if you don't like it, then you can reject it (multiple times) and it will let you record yourself. It is best to do the recording from a computer or Chromebook instead of your phone.

🎓 GRADUATION CEREMONY is at Gas South Arena on May 23rd at 7:30 pm. Each graduate will receive 10 tickets (no extras). Students will get the tickets in their Senior Envelope at graduation practice on May 22nd. Remember to review your MyPaymentsPlus account and pay any outstanding fees to prevent delays in getting your tickets.
🎓 BACCALAUREATE CELEBRATION RSVP: The Peachtree Ridge High School PTSA and the 2025 Senior Class Chairs cordially invites you to a Baccalaureate Celebration on May 17th, 2025 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at 12Stone Church. This is a free event where we celebrate culture, identity, and talent of the Class of 2025. Seniors are to wear their gowns, stoles, and cords. Dessert reception following the program. 🎓 DID YOU MISS CAP & GOWN PICTURE DAY? We are conducting a survey to gauge interest in adding one last session for those who were unable to attend the first two sessions on January 30th & March 3rd. Please click here to complete the survey. Magic Moments provides the Cap & Gown for the pictures. THE RESULTS ARE IN: A 3rd and FINAL session will be held on March 25th after school in the HUB! Book a time slot at Magic Moment Photography. Walk-ins are welcome!

🎓 HAVEN'T PAID FOR YOUR SENIOR DUES YET? Get those paid soon online at www.scholasticimages.com by April 13th and receive your Cap & Gown on April 15th. Any dues paid after April 13th, Cap & Gowns will be shipped and additional fee applies. Remember, senior dues include ALL the things you need (Cap & Gown, Senior T-Shirt/Senior Week, Diploma Cover, Senior Breakfast, Senior Picnic, Gas South Arena Fees, etc.)
🎓Last day to purchase PROM TICKETS is April 4th online at www.GoFan.co
🎓 MANDATORY SENIOR SURVEY: It is the time of year to complete the GCPS Graduate Exit Survey, which means graduation is around the corner! This 5-minute survey is required for all seniors. The results of this survey help highlight the important accomplishments of the PRHS Class of 2025! Reach out to your counselor if you have any questions. Please complete the survey by MARCH 14TH.
- Log into your Student Portal account and access the survey titled 2024-25 Graduate Exit Survey located under "Additional Resources"
- The survey can be completed from a mobile device and can be accessed from school or home.
- The survey is available in two languages: English, and Spanish. The default language is English. Click the drop-down list in the top-right corner to switch to Spanish.
- Report your post-graduation plans and any college or community scholarships you have been offered (even if you are not accepting the offer). DO NOT INCLUDE HOPE/ZELL MILLER SCHOLARSHIP OR PELL GRANT
- If you are currently unsure of your plans for next year, please report your "most likely" choice.
- Follow the prompts until you submit the survey. You will know it has been submitted when you get to the screen that says, "(insert name), thank you for taking the time to complete the 2024-2025 Graduate Exit Survey...."
🎓STILL WORKING ON COLLEGE APPLICATIONS? Several Georgia colleges are waiving their application fees for the month of March. Examples include Georgia Gwinnett College, Kennesaw State University, University of North Georgia and Gwinnett Technical College to name a few. If interested, click here for a full list of colleges.

- March 25th: Cap & Gown Final Session after school in the HUB
(Book your appointment online at Magic Moment Photography) - March 28th: Locker Strip Distribution during dismissal - Commons & Atrium
- April 4th: Last Day to purchase Prom Tickets on GoFan.co
- April 13th: Last Day to pay for Senior Dues
- April 15th: Senior Meeting during PRIDE
- April 15th: Cap & Gown Distribution during all lunch blocks (paid dues up to April 13th)
- April 21st: Senior Letter Collection Begins (via drop-off or in school only, no USPS)
- April 24th, 25th, 27th: Senior Locker Decorating
- April 26th: Prom @ Gas South Arena
- April 28th: MPP Fees and Fines Notification will go out. Must be paid before May 14th.
- April 28th - May 2nd: Senior Week
- April 29th: Honors Night @ Cross Pointe Church at 6:30 pm (by invitation only)
- April 30th: Senior Breakfast
- May 2nd: Senior Picnic @ PRHS
- May 5th - 16th: AP Exams
- May 13th - 14th: Senior Exams
- May 16th - Senior Sunset @ PRHS Football Stadium at 7:00 pm
