On April 8th, our school will be participating in observing the solar eclipse. This unique astronomical occurrence presents an excellent educational opportunity for our students.
All students will have the opportunity to experience the solar eclipse unless we receive an opt-out form indicating otherwise, attached HERE. If you wish for your child to be excused from the event, please complete the opt-out form provided by 9:00 am on April 8th.
For safety purposes, we want to assure you that the school district has provided appropriate viewing glasses for all students, adhering to NASA's standards. These glasses will allow students to safely observe the eclipse without any risk to their eyesight.
We encourage you to discuss the solar eclipse with your child at home and emphasize the importance of following safety guidelines during the event.
