KMS NEWSLETTER

Dear KMS Families,
We’re happy to report that our recent lockdown drill was a success! We appreciate the cooperation of parents and students, as these drills help us improve our response to various scenarios and ensure everyone's safety.
Additionally, our MAP testing this past week went smoothly, with KMS students doing an excellent job staying focused and completing each test. Kudos to both our students and the dedicated KMS teachers and staff! Test results will be shared with families at the end of the first quarter (November 1) when report cards go home.
Stay tuned for the best-looking school pictures in all the land! If you feel like you need a do-over, we will share the date for Make-Up Picture Day as soon as it’s available.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Rena Rankin, Principal
Judith Bruns, Assistant Principal

Dear Parents and/ or Guardians,
KIBSD uses a documentation and communication system called SchoolCare to organize and care for the health needs of students. You can access your child’s SchoolCare account and complete the enrollment through your Parent PowerSchool Portal or through a link you will receive in your email.
This annual enrollment needs to be done every year to ensure health information and medication permissions are up to date. Please check your email for a notification from SchoolCare in August and follow the link to complete your child’s health information online. If you are having trouble accessing your child’s SchoolCare account, please fill out the attached Paper Enrollment.
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s SchoolCare enrollment please contact me. Thank you for your time and effort in this process.
